THESE ARE SOME OF THE REASONS I SAW THAT MADE GOD RAISE JERRY EZE FROM IGBO LAND, THE EAST OF NIGERIA

(1) Because, before Jerry Eze rose to limelight, many young ministers in the east of Nigeria were selling their souls to Satan for money and fame…

Someone told them that without sleeping with pythons and fornicating with queen of the coast, that, they will never have crowd and money in ministry and we watched in helplessness how many vibrant guys were hijacked…

But the emergence of Jerry Eze in the scene is a beacon of hope for all those who vowed never to bow to Baal…

The younger ministers have now seen that If God can raise Jerry Eze without the use of juju and without packaging of miracles, then, they will wait for their own time…

(2) Many were running to rich and happening cities and town, so that they will attract oil workers and captains of industries as their members…

But the rising of Jerry Eze from Umuahia is a statement from God to the young ministers that it is not about where you are…

Just carry His burden… He will compel the world to carry His message in your mouth…

That once you have paid the price, that God can still make you a figure to represent Him in global capacity in the fullness of time…

You don’t know how many young men who were genuinely called by God who ran to mami water and took charms to enhance their ministry…

God used him to tell the followers of Jezebel to shut up… that one can still command the miraclulous without knowing the road to native doctors shrine…

How can someone see the Hand of God upon this man and still want to go down to Egypt for help?…

Any young man still patronising Juju to grow ministry must have really vowed to spend eternity in outer darkness…

Friends, in every generation, God raises some men because of some men… and it makes Satan angry seeing those men rising in righteousness and purity…

If you understand this, you will pray for this man with all your heart… so that God will sustain him in this journey…

My wife and I, from far away Belgium, we pray for him and even before now, it has been my duty to compel everyone around me to pray for him…

Not because he is the only man of God doing greatly from the east of Nigeria, but because, his rising is very strategic in the story that would be told about young ministers from my tribe in the near future…

Before now, once people hear about a preacher from the east of Nigeria, they will remember over 20 different young preachers from my tribe that have duped them with prophecies etc…

But right now, once you hear about ministers from my Igbo land, my tribe, people will remember: WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST…

In place of shame, glory has taken over our story! Hallelujah!

To me, that’s how God chose to answer prayer from the lips of many remnants crying to Him to save us from that shame and change our story…

He is certainly not the most anointed man from my tribe, neither is he the only genuine man of God there…

Genuine Men and women dey in Aba, Umuahia, Onitsha, Awka, Ebonyi, Enugu etc that spits fire from the womb of righteousness and purity…

But his rising is very important and because of that, it will be a sin for people like us not to pray for him…

In few days, it will be his birthday…

Please, keep keeping him in your prayers… And none of us shall miss our own share of the rewards of intercession…

Let us pray!

MEANING OF ASUU STRIKE

TO ALL OUR FOREIGN FRIENDS WHO ARE CURIOUS TO KNOW THE MEANING OF ASUU STRIKE: ASUU Strike is an annual festival done in
Nigerian Universities whereby students are not allowed to go to school during the festival. The date of the event is always fixed
by the lecturers of Nigerian state
and federal universities.

The event is remarkable in that everyone is a spectator.

Highlight of the festival is the wrestling match between federal executive council and the leaders of the lecturers.

There is no referee to officiate the wrestling match, as such the
wrestling comes to an end when both contestants are tired.

The duration of the festival is indefinite depending on the strength of the wrestlers.

If you are wondering were to
spend your vacation then Nigeria should be your destination because the festival is at its peak.

Happy ASUU STRIKE to Nigerian students!!!

From Me, I challenge every Nigerian student to sit down this period and find the facts about the recurrent dilemma and battle between ASUU and FG and take a positive stand never to let this continue in a few years to come. Else the same hands that criticise whatever side of the two wrestlers today will sure be in that position a few years from now and will do the same things or even worse.

ASUU and FG fight is only a reflection of the greed and insensitivity, I see in many Nigerian establishments even in the offices of the same ASUU members who accuse the FG of the same.

May God help you and I to raise Hope for the Future of our dear country, Nigeria. IT BEGINS WITH YOU AND I.

5 LIKELY PLACES YOU CAN MEET YOUR SPOUSE.

Dear singles, I thought it nice to share with you some possible places you can meet your spouse. I would like to change your perception of where you can meet them.

I do not want you to pitch your tent in your church area alone, or in whichever place you assume.

Some folks think they can only meet their spouse in the church, they believe it’s only in the church they attend they can meet their spouse. That’s a good belief though, but, I must advise you not to let that deter you from mingling with others or seeing the possibility of meeting someone you can get married to beyond the four walls of your church.

Here are the possible places you can find your spouse….

  1. LOCAL ASSEMBLY: There is a 60% possibility of you meeting your spouse in your local assembly. However People are scattered everywhere, it might be that your spouse worships in another denomination. Your church can be very large and filled with several believers, but your spouse might not be there! I listened to the testimony of a lady, who resides in Lagos and she is an evangelist who travels to different states across the nation. It was in one of her outreaches in a different state that she met her spouse. God works mysteriously, so don’t base your belief on meeting your spouse in your local assembly alone.

2. HIGH SCHOOL:
It is very possible to meet your spouse here also, your spouse might be your coursemate.

I read a letter one of the bamiloye’s sons wrote to his wife, he specifically said he met her in class when he lectured.

The only issue here is that you have to be disciplined, do not major in the minor, When it’s time for lectures don’t go about hanging out, or not concentrating on what you went to school for.

You can actually build a sound relationship in school towards the end of your program just know what you are doing.

3. OFFICE (Workplace):
My elder sister met her spouse at her workplace, God can connect you at your workplace.

I actually had the belief that It was only In my local assembly that I could see my spouse funny right?

And I know some people still have such perceptions.

Your office is a strategic place to meet and connect with people, of which one can be your spouse!

4. RESIDENCE: This is a place most people tend to look down on, they do not like the thought of meeting anyone in their place of residence. to be very honest with you, you can meet your partner here also.

God’s job is just to connect you both, and he can do that anywhere so don’t base your assumptions on a particular place.

5. ONLINE: Yes, you can meet your partner online, but you have to be extra careful. In this case, people can be very deceptive so allow the holy spirit, also get your convictions and make sure when meeting anyone for the first time let it be in an open environment, eg, a restaurant.

Secondly, let the church marriage committee be aware of your relationship, and get to know their family mentor and pastor, from there you can kick start the courtship properly.

Mama choco (voice of a good woman) met her spouse online.

Minister Solomon Lange met his spouse online.

On and on like that, they are countless.

So be alert to the prompting of the holy spirit!

WATCHMAN NEE AS A WRITER

Men wrote many poems. But, few wrote as inspired by God. Watchman Nee was one teacher who taught God’s Word and explained things about the Christian Faith.

Watchman Nee wrote a poem expressing his love for God.

Picture of Watchman Nee

What length, breadth, height and depth!
What greatness is His love!
How else could I, a sinner vile,
Be in such grace and bliss?
My Lord has paid the price
To buy me for Himself.
So, willingly I’ll bear the cross
To follow Him steadfast.
I’ve now abandoned all
That I may thus gain Christ.
No thought or care of life or death,
Nothing can hold me back.
Friends, pleasures, gain and fame . . .
No longer useful be.
My Lord became so poor for me,
His poverty I’d share.
I love my Saviour dear;
His praise is my desire.
For Him, let ease be turned to pain,
Let gain be turned to loss.
My Comforter Thou art,
Jesus my gracious Lord!
Who do I have in heav’n but Thee?
Who else my love on earth?
I care not for the pain,
Hardship and loneliness.
Dear Lord, embrace my spirit, soul
and body with Thy love.
I ask of Thee, my Lord,
To guide me with Thy grace;
Stand by my side to give me strength
To safely pass through life.
Satan, flesh, and the world
Do tempt and press me sore;
Unless Thy might upholds me, Lord,
I just might shame Thy name.
While time is fleeting by,
Lift me above this world;
That at Thy return I can sing,
“Hallelujah, Amen.”

THE UNTOLD STORY OF CHARLES FINNEY AND FATHER NASH

THE HISTORY OF FATHER NASH

Daniel Nash (1775-1831) served as Charles Finney’s personnel intercessor.

He was key to the revival that followed Finney’s ministry. We can all look at the life of Daniel Nash and see an example of how important prayer is to see the kingdom of God revealed. From “Daniel Nash: Prevailing Prince of Prayer” When God would direct where a meeting was to be held, Father Nash would slip quietly into town and seek to get two or three people to enter into a covenant of prayer with him. Sometimes he had with him a man of similar prayer ministry, Abel Clary. Together they would begin to pray fervently for God to move in the community.

One record of such is told by Leonard Ravenhill: “I met an old lady who told me a story about Charles Finney that has challenged me over the years. Finney went to Bolton to minister, but before he began, two men knocked on the door of her humble cottage, wanting lodging. The poor woman looked amazed, for she had no extra accommodations. Finally, for about twenty-five cents a week, the two men, none other than Fathers Nash and Clary, rented a dark and damp cellar for the period of the Finney meetings (at least two weeks), and there in that self-chosen cell, those prayer partners battled the forces of darkness.”

Another record tells: “On one occasion when I got to town to start a revival a lady contacted me who ran a boarding house. She said, ‘Brother Finney, do you know a Father Nash? He and two other men have been at my boarding house for the last three days, but they haven’t eaten a bite of food. I opened the door and peeped in at them because I could hear them groaning, and I saw them down on their faces. They have been this way for three days, lying prostrate on the floor and groaning. I thought something awful must have happened to them. I was afraid to go in and I didn’t know what to do. Would you please come see about them?’ “‘No, it isn’t necessary,’ Finney replied. ‘They just have a spirit of travail in prayer.’”

Another states: “Charles Finney so realized the need of God’s working in all his service that he was wont to send godly Father Nash on in advance to pray down the power of God into the meetings which he was about to hold.” Not only did Nash prepare the communities for preaching, but he also continued in prayer during the meetings. “Often Nash would not attend meetings, and while Finney was preaching Nash was praying for the Spirit’s outpouring upon him. Finney stated, ‘I did the preaching altogether, and brother Nash gave himself up almost continually to prayer.’ Often while the evangelist preached to the multitudes, Nash in some adjoining house would be upon his face in an agony of prayer, and God answered in the marvels of His grace. With all due credit to Mr. Finney for what was done, it was the praying men who held the ropes. The tears they shed, the groans they uttered are written in the book of the chronicles of the things of God.”

IT IS WRONG TO CLAP FOR JESUS SAYS POPULAR PREACHER PASTOR ABEL DAMINA

It’s Wrong To Clap For Jesus – Pastor Abel Damina Tells Christians

Founder of Power City International (Power Chapel), Abel Damina, says clapping for Jesus Christ is a wrong practice.

The cleric stated this during a church programme, noting that clapping in church is not in line with the Christian doctrine.

Pastor Abel said that in the Bible, to clap signifies mockery, whereas when people clap in accordance with earthly activities and understanding, then it can be seen as a means of celebration.

He added that when it comes to giving glory to Jesus, we do not clap, rather, we lift up our holy hands to honor Him.

According to the cleric, we don’t worship God based on our terms but on his terms, so we must unlearn some of the things we have learnt over time.

THE BIOGRAPHY OF PA JOSIAH AKINDAYOMI

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗣H𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗔 𝗝𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗔𝗛 𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗠𝗜

Pa Josiah Akindayomi was born in 1909. He grew up as an idol worshipper but he later converted to Christianity out of a yearning to know “The God who created the earth and everyoneon it”. He was baptized in 1927 in the Church Missionary Society. He joined the Cherubim and Seraphim church in 1931 because he was not fulfilled as a Christian in the C.M.S.

While in the C & S church, he said a voice told him that “You will be My servant”.The RCCG was founded by Pa Josiah Akindayomi who came from Ondo State in the western part of Nigeria. Ministry was not his intention so he ignored the voice and went into business ventures for seven years.

During this period, all of his businesses ventures failed. This broke him completely. He finally yielded to God saying, “Lord, I will go wherever you want me to go.” He asked for signs to confirm that this was indeed God’s call. The confirmation came through the Bible passages of Jeremiah 1:4-10, Isaiah 41:10-13 and Romans 8:29-31.

He continued to worship with the Cherubim and Seraphim. In 1947, he started to become concerned that the church was departing from the true Word of God in some of its practices. By 1952, he felt totally persuaded to leave the church.

He started at Willough by Street, Ebute-Metta, Lagos a house fellowship called, the Glory of God Fellowship. Initially there were nine members but before long the fellowship rapidly grew as the news of the miracles that occurred in their midst spread.

Pa Akindayomi, who was not so educated, formed his own Church and After Baba formed his own church, he named it Egbe Ogo Oluwa (Ogo Oluwa Fellowship). Later, he renamed it The Apostolic Church, but members of The Apostolic Faith Church said he took their name. He once wrote a tract under the name of The Apostolic Church, and The Apostolic Faith Church opposed it, and he had to burn the tracts. It was a bitter fight that the first time he died; God had to send him back to life.

He said God showed him his house in heaven, and told him that though he had done almost everything required of him, he still had to come back to settle his old score. So he quickly went to reconcile with The Apostolic Faith Church.

The name Redeemed Christian Church of God, came to Papa in a dream. When he was sleeping, the name appeared to him on a blackboard. When he woke up, he wrote down the words. He even pronounced it when he was telling his pastors, though it was in English. He added that the Lord said He would provide all the needs of the church, and that He would meet the church when He came back. It is said that God made a covenant with Pa Akindayomi that is synonymous to Abraham’s covenant. He said that He the Lord would meet all the needs of the church in an awesome way if only members would serve Him faithfully and be obedient to His Word.

It is upon this covenant that the Redeemed Christian Church of God was built. Thus in 1952, the church was renamed The Redeemed Christian Church Of God. The church continued to meet at 9 Willoughby Street until they relocated to 1-5 Redemption Way (formerly 1a Cemetery Street).

Pa Josiah Akindayomi, Sometime in the early 70s, Pa Akindayomi stated that God had spoken to him about his successor. He claimed that The Lord told him that this man, who was not a member of the church then, would be a young educated man. Thus when a young university lecturer joined the church in 1973, Papa was able, as was claimed, to recognize him in the Spirit as the one that the Lord had spoken about in the past. This man, Enoch Adejare Adeboye who was then a lecturer of Mathematics at the University of Lagos soon became involved in the church.
Enoch Adejare Adeboye became one of the interpreters translating Pa Akindayomi’s sermons from Yoruba to English.

He was ordained a pastor of the church in 1975. Pa Akindayomi was in a meeting with Kenneth E Hagin and the Lord told Kenneth E Hagin that he should tell Pa Akindayomi that what he said he would do for the church he will do it and that was another confirmation that God is with his Church. God made some promises to Pa Akindayomi about RCCG. Here is a least of the promises. 1. That He will meet this Church on His return.2. That this Church will become a model to the whole world. 3. That other Churches from all over the world would come to learn and worship in this Church.

As Papa was preparing to meet his Creator, he sent for Pastor Adeboye and spent several hours sharing with him details of the covenant and the plans of the Lord for the church. Even though a year before this, the Lord had revealed to Pastor Adeboye that he would be Papa’s successor, it was still too difficult for him to fully contemplate such an awesome responsibility.

Pa Josiah Akindayomi was 71 years old when he died. Amidst controversy, Pastor Adeboye’s appointment was formalized by the reading of Pa Akindayomi’s sealed pronouncement after his burial. Since 1981, an open explosion began with the number of parishes growing in leaps and bounds. At the last count, there are over 2000 parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria.

On the International scene, the church is present in other African nations and in other continents of the world. One of the well-known programs of the church is the Holy Ghost Service, an all night miracle service that holds on the first Friday of every month at the Redemption Camp at km. 46, Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The Holy Ghost Service now holds in London quarterly and in other parts of the world. Another major service is the Holy Ghost congress which holds in the second week of December every year at the Redemption Camp.
